TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Dokko (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Dokko provides an AI-powered platform for form building, PDF generation, electronic signatures, and workflow automation. The Service is available via web browser at dokko.io and through our API.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to collect data in violation of applicable laws
- Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content through forms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
- Use the Service to create forms that collect sensitive data without appropriate safeguards
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all forms, templates, submission data, and documents you create using the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for purposes other than operating the Service.
6. Electronic Signatures
E-signatures facilitated through Dokko comply with the ESIGN Act, UETA, and eIDAS regulations. Full audit trails including timestamps, IP addresses, and signer identity are maintained. You are responsible for ensuring that e-signatures are appropriate for your specific use case and jurisdiction.
7. Pricing and Payment
The Service offers a free Starter plan and paid plans with additional features. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. All payments are processed securely by Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. Polar handles billing, sales tax, and payment processing on our behalf. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
8. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with Dokko. If you are not happy with your purchase, the following refund terms apply:
- Monthly plans: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or any renewal. After 14 days, no refund is issued but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
- Annual plans: You may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. After 30 days, you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period. Partial refunds for unused months are not provided.
- Free plan: The Starter plan is free and does not require payment or refund.
To request a refund, contact us at billing@dokko.io with your account email and reason for the request. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days via your original payment method through Polar.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime when possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dokko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide a reasonable period to export Your Content before permanent deletion.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dokko operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
